ByteDesk is a product of ByteWeb IT Solutions Private Limited (“ByteWeb”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains how we handle information submitted through the ByteDesk website.
Information you provide
When you request a demo, we collect your name, work email address, mobile number (if provided), company name, message and your consent to be contacted. We also record an enquiry identifier, submission time, referral information and delivery status so we can process your request.
How we use information
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, arrange a demonstration, discuss your requirements and manage follow-up communication. Technical request information is used to validate submissions and limit abuse.
Service providers and sharing
Enquiries are stored in a Cloudflare-hosted database. When configured, our delivery system sends enquiry details to our team through our transactional email provider (Brevo or Resend), sends you an acknowledgement copy at the email address you provide, and creates or updates your contact record in our customer relationship management system (HubSpot). These services process information to support our response to you. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law.
Analytics and cookies
When measurement is enabled, this website loads Google Tag Manager, which in turn loads the measurement tags we have configured in it, such as Google Analytics and Meta. Those tags may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and share usage information with their providers, including pages viewed, referring links, approximate location derived from your IP address, and device and browser characteristics. They are used to understand how the website is used and how people find it.
We do not pass your name, email address, mobile number or enquiry text to these tags. When you submit the enquiry form, the measurement event records that a request was submitted, not who submitted it or what it said. Your enquiry itself is handled as described above.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and use the privacy and advertising controls offered by Google and Meta. Blocking them does not prevent you from using this website or submitting an enquiry.
Retention and deletion requests
To ask about access, correction or deletion of information you submitted, use the ByteDesk contact form and describe your request. You can also reply to our team’s response. We may need to verify your request before taking action. Information that must be retained to meet legal obligations or resolve a dispute may be excluded from deletion.
Security
We restrict access to enquiry records and validate form submissions. No online service can guarantee absolute security; please do not include passwords, payment details or sensitive customer information in your enquiry.
Links to other services
Our website links to social networks and other websites. Their privacy policies apply when you visit those services.
Mobile applications and customer workspaces
This website policy does not describe data handling inside a ByteDesk mobile application or customer workspace. The applicable app privacy notice must describe its account data, conversations, device permissions, service providers and deletion arrangements. Please contact us for the privacy information applicable to your deployment.
Changes and contact
We may update this notice as the website changes. The date above identifies the latest revision. For privacy questions, contact ByteWeb IT Solutions Private Limited through the ByteDesk enquiry form or our company website.
